About German Tutor

I am a mature lady who has worked in Media Sales, Customer Service, Personal Assistant (Secretary), Tourism & Travel Industry , Technical Software Support Rep and lastly as a Mortgage Adviser.

I am a Graduate of the Open University studying Professional Business Management. In 2003 I started German Tutor and also Get Your Web (Website Design). In 2005 I decided that I would like to work full time again but away from using computers all day and retrained as a Mortgage Adviser. I now work for one of the top banks and am currently studying for the Certificate in Financial Planning to move into an IFA role.

My hometown where I was born is near Hanover in Germany. In this northern region the people speak the clearest German, without any dialects.

Growing up bilingual, and having lived in more than half a dozen countries, I have no problems switching from English to German and vice versa.

My husband is British and speaks some German. My daughter speaks good German and my son is just now starting up speaking a little. He was very stubborn as a child and refused to speak German once he learned English as we had left Germany when he was still very young.
